How this list is built
A small process on this server opens three public pages, copies the museum names it can read, and keeps the last good snapshot if a site is briefly unreachable. The page you are on asks that process for JSON. We do not sell tickets, we do not book visits, and we do not hotlink museum photos.
The pages for this version are Visit Estonia’s Tallinn museums article (names plus first-party detail pages for address and seasonal opening times), the Art Museum of Estonia opening-hours tables, and the branch blocks on Tallinn City Museum’s English home page. Rows for the same museum are merged; the copy with more fields wins, then hours, address, and ticket-from are filled from the others. Zoo, the TV tower, Kohtuotsa, and generic viewing platforms are dropped. Bastion passages stay under Kiek in de Kök, not as a separate attraction.
The list refreshes on its own about every six hours, on the same tick as deals and loans. A source marked stale is yesterday’s copy of that hub, not an empty hole. Hours are the text the hubs published — seasonal, not a live open-now.
Tallinn only
This directory is the capital, not the whole country. Neighbourhood chips follow the street address: Vene, Niguliste, Pikk, and Toompea as Old Town; Weizenbergi and Koidula as Kadriorg; Vesilennuki, Kotzebue, and Telliskivi as Kalamaja; Vabaõhumuuseumi as Haabersti; Maarjamäe as Maarjamäe. Anything else sits under Rest of Tallinn.

Visit Estonia — the Tallinn top-museums article and its detail pages, for names, addresses, and printed opening times. Art Museum of Estonia — the opening-hours page for Kumu, Kadriorg, Mikkel, Niguliste, and Adamson-Eric. Tallinn City Museum — branch names and street addresses on the English home page.
A ticket-from figure appears only when one of those pages prints a euro amount. If they do not, the cell stays blank. We are not a ticket vendor. If you run one of those museums and want a row taken down, write to the address on the contact page.
Questions about the list
Is this a ticket shop?
No. It is a copy of names, addresses, and hours that public pages already publish. Buy tickets on the museum’s own site or at the desk.
Are the hours live?
No. They are the seasonal text the hubs printed when we last read them. Holidays, exhibition Mondays, and last-entry rules change. Check the museum site before you go.
Why is a museum missing?
This version only copies three HTML hubs, and only Tallinn. Places that live behind a JavaScript listing, or that are not museums, are out. The zoo, TV tower, and viewing platforms are dropped on purpose.
How often does the list update?
About every six hours, with deals and loans. If a hub fails, the last good copy for that hub stays up and is marked stale. The time at the top of the list is when the snapshot was written.
Do you earn money from these links?
Not in this version. Source links open the hub we copied. Museum-site links go to the institution’s own domain when we know it. If a paid placement is added later, it will be labelled and the privacy page will change first.
