utils.ee is a small set of calculators for people who live in Estonia, or who just arrived and are staring at a roll of paper, a VAT invoice, or a tin of paint. The site is English at the current URLs, with Russian under /ru/. Product names, lender names, and museum hours stay as the source pages published them.

Eight tools are live. The wallpaper estimator treats pattern match as a first-class input — including half-drop — and counts whole drops per roll. Paint packs real tin sizes instead of a fractional litre. VAT uses the 2026 Eesti rates (24 / 13 / 9 / 0). Flooring sells you whole packs after a layout waste allowance. The newcomer checklist is the first-month admin list, with ticks that stay on this device. The deals page lists campaign prices from Tallinn DIY shops, read a few times a day. The loans page compares published väikelaen figures from Estonian comparison hubs, ranked by KKM (krediidi kulukuse määr, the annual credit cost). The museums page is a Tallinn directory: names, neighbourhoods, and hours as the hubs printed them.

The calculator maths is derived in public on each tool page, with a worked example you can retype. Those forms still run in the browser — the same TypeScript modules that the tests run are bundled into the page. The deals, loans, and museums lists are the exception: a small process on this host copies public pages and the page fetches that snapshot. There is no account and no database.
